Nicole Hart’s massive Ironman Melbourne effort!

One of Evolution Cycles Sponsored Athletes, and a Physiohealth patient, Nicole Hart had an awesome result at the recent Ironman Melbourne with an astounding 3:01 marathon off the bike, to take 1st in her age-group at Ironman Melbourne!

Read Nicole's response to the day: "What an epic day Ironman Melbourne was. There were many amazing and inspirational performances all round and what a joy it was to race with so many friends on our home turf. I couldn’t be happier with my result in just my 2nd attempt at this distance and I exceeded my own expectations by taking the Age Group Win. The fastest female marathon split at 3.01 hours was the icing on the cake. It was a nail biting start to the day with a major wetsuit malfunction ten minutes before the race. Mat Tippet and the ETPA crew saved the day with their ingenuity and managed to get me to the start line with 2 minutes to spare. Thanks to everyone who came down to cheer on and to all the volunteers for giving their time to make this race happen. The support on the course was phenomenal and gave me an enormous amount motivation. A special mention to the WSTC and TMC support crew. With a finishing time of 9.39, I smashed my pb by 1hr 25 mins. This result is not only a reflection of hours of hard training but the talented team I have in my corner who I owe a HUGE thank you to. They are; Andrew Sinclair, my coach, you are truly amazing and I am so grateful to work with you. Together we have achieved things I never thought possible. Your influence has been life changing. Mat Tippet from Elite Triathlon Performance Australia , there was no race without you. Your help to develop my strength and swim is starting to pay off and I am looking forward to continuing this journey with you. Your race updates gave me the lift I needed to push through that run too. Sharbil of Physiohealth , I thought my body would not cope with another Ironman Race, but you have treated the chronic injuries I battled with for so long and made me stronger and more efficient in the process. Time now to focus my sights on Kona 2014!" Well deserved win Nicole! Good luck in Kona! 1185385_830104163686241_1228248505_n
