Amelia’s 10km in 10 week – Week 8 – Taper
Amelia is joined by her running coach Greg from Krunchies Health & Fitness to talk about Taper. There's a lot of confusion out there about Taper so Greg is here to clear up the confusion! Greg wants Amelia to keep the intensity up but reduce the workload. The quality and number of sessions will remain the same, just the distance will change! Ultimately 10 days out from the race Amelia should be dropping off some of the longer runs. Taper will help Amelia rock up to race day fresh and smash the 10km in under 50 minutes.
